Krane Bio Energy Compressed Bio Gas Project

Krane BIo Energy Pvt. Ltd. has received 25 Tonne per Day Letter of Intent from Gas Authority of India Limited( Https://GailOnline.com) to supply Compressed Bio Gas for 15 years at ₹56.70 or $.71 per kg. In order to facilitate the long term supply contract Krane Bio Energy has planned to set up a 25 TPD CBG production facility in Khordha district of Odisha state, India.  

The Project will provide production, purification, bottling & supply of 

1. CBG to GAIL 

2. Carbon Dioxide to Industry

3. Fertilizer to Farmers Cooperative

Feedstock Formula

If Napier grass, Paddy & wheat straw is used 100% in digestor continuously for a longer period will increase acidic level in digestor up-to PH level to 4, killing enzymes & decreasing biogas generation gradually and ultimately system failure.

Co-digestion with animal manure (cow dung/ poultry litter) improved methane yield from 38% to as high as 114% and maintaining a balanced PH level for enzyme growth.

For a stable digester operation with maintaining an optimum carbohydrate to Nitrogen ratio, the following conditions maintained-  

1. Organic matter (Napier grass+ Paddy/wheat straw) to animal manure percentage would be 80-85% to 15-20% respectively. 
2. The animal manure will be injected to digestor 6 times in day with equivalent time interval to maintain efficiency. As a single dose of animal manure will create exponential generation of bio gas suddenly, causing overloading on processing & purifying system.
    

Doubling Farmer's Income

Long-term Contract farming of napier grass with farmers, assures continuous supply of feedstock to the project. The Animal manure is provided by the Diary Farmer Cooperative while the Poultry Litter is supplied by the Poultry farmer Cooperative. The Farmers also benefit from supply of Potassium Rich Organic Manure ( Potassium added during post slurry processing stage ) at highly discounted rate.
